社区标准 & 学生的行为

使命宣言

作为黄金城下载平台斯大学社区的成员，黄金城下载平台有权利和责任. 这些权利和责任有助于黄金城下载平台创造一种关心和关怀的氛围, one conducive to the teaching/learning process. 黄金城下载平台致力于提供一个公平公正的行为过程，重视教育制裁. 黄金城下载平台重视每个人的诚信以及社区的重要性，因此寻求在公共利益与个人需求之间取得平衡.

Student rights include the following:

  • 免于威胁.
  • Freedom from acts of violence.
  • Freedom from unfair or obscene treatment from others.

  • Freedom from theft and willful destruction of personal property.
  • Right to study and learn in an atmosphere of academic freedom.
  • Right to fundamental fairness in University disciplinary action.

Student responsibilities include the following:

  • To respect the rights and property of others.

学术诚实

黄金城客户端的一个目标是让学生诚实而有活力地寻找真理. Academic honesty is a hallmark of such a quest. 相应的, 黄金城下载平台期望并鼓励学生以诚实和道德的方式从事学术研究的各个方面. Should instances of academic dishonesty arise, the following policies and procedures will be in force.

I. 定义:
Academic dishonesty is unethical behavior, which in any way violates the standards of scholarly conduct. 它包括在作业或考试中作弊, 剽窃, 未经所有有关教师同意，为多于一门课程提交相同或基本相同的论文, misappropriating library materials, or the destroying of or tampering with computer files. 学术不诚实还包括故意或故意帮助他人违反这一政策的任何部分.

II. 制裁:

3. 申诉程序:
学生在收到处罚通知后有五(5)个工作日向教师提出申诉. 讲师有五(5)个工作日对上诉作出决定. 如果不满意, 在通知讲师决定后，学生有五(5)个工作日向讲师的系主任提出上诉. 系主任有五(5)个工作日对上诉作出决定. 如果还不满意, 在院长决定通知后，学生有五(5)个工作日向教员所在学院的院长提出上诉. The Dean has five (5) business days to render a decision. 如果还不满意, 在院长作出决定通知后，学生有五(5)个工作日向教务副院长提出上诉. 教务副校长有五(5)个工作日作出决定, 这是最终结果. All steps of the appeal and responses must be in writing. If any deadline for a decision on the appeal is unmet, 除了教务副校长以外, the student may make the appeal to the next person in the process.
